New breakthrough in AIDS research

Scientists are reporting a new breakthrough in AIDS prevention. This is good news, but it has a downside.

The study in South Africa said that using a gel prevented a woman from getting the AIDS virus in up to 50% of cases.

This is hailed as a wonderful development because it helps women whose partners won't use condoms.

First of all, if they aren't married, they shouldn't be having sex in the first place. Secondly, if the male partner won't use protection, the woman shouldn't be engaging in the sex act with him at all.

If we will return to a Biblically based view of sex, we will see a lot of problems in this country eliminated.

Immigration reform shouldn't be so hard

Why is immigration reform so complicated? There's no need for it to be so. Here's a simple history lesson: after WWII, President Harry S Truman sent the illegals home. Teddy Roosevelt did it after the Spanish American war, and it was done by Eisenhower after the Korean War.

Since Obama is bringing all of our troops home so rapidly, where will these troops work when they get home? Those who aren't full-time military are going to be returning to their civilian jobs, by law, and that will force many working to lose their jobs. Don't misunderstand me: every returning soldier deserves his or her job back, but with a failing economy, where do you think the unemployment rate is headed in the near future?

The reason prior Presidents sent illegals home was to provide jobs for returning soliders. In this day and age, not only returning soldiers, but everyday citizens need those jobs too. Obama, though, is too busy worrying over getting the Latino vote to be concerned about the lives of the soldiers who died to protect this country and to give liberal ungodly leaders such as himself the free speech right they use to desecrate our country.

Obama needs to either respect Arizona's law, which was actually written in accordance with the federal law that Obama is too spineless to uphold, or get out of the way and let someone who knows what they're doing solve the immigration problem
When questioned by the U.S. Senate on the issue of partial birth abortion, Supreme Court nominee Elana Kagan called it a "very difficult issue." There shouldn't be an issue here, there shouldn't be anything difficult about it. Abortion, in any format, is wrong!

Partial birth abortion involves killing the fetus well into its development, months after conception. The child is already formed with body and face, and yet our government has decided its okay to kill the child.

What blows my mind in this country is that people will rush in to save a litter of puppies from being put to sleep, or to prevent an abortion in an animal, yet rush to help a human kill their unborn. Rights groups scream foul when an inmate is executed for crimes against humanity, yet an innocent, unborn child shouldn't matter.

I know we will all give account before God on Judgment Day, but I wouldn't want to stand in the shoes of those who have promoted abortion, who've performed abortions, and who have failed to repent from having an abortion.

"And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me.--Matthew 25:40
